On 24 October, Torrington in Bloom held their Best Garden prize-giving event at the Torrington Arms. Cherry Hammon (Chair of TIB) made the following statement:-
The evening went extremely well, and I must thank Roger and his staff at the Torrington Arms for helping us get everything ready and ship-shape.. Thanks, too, for the wonderful selection of raffle prizes – we raised £118 altogether. I would also like to thank Ann Bacon for the delicious cakes and scones, and also for the floral bouquets presented to the Mayor, Jan Welch and Sarah Chesters.
